One benefit of choosing the MetroWest YMCA for summer camp is that every child enrolled in a traditional camp will receive an instructional swim lesson this summer.

We will test your child's swim level at the start of the week. As your child's skills improve, we’ll automatically move them up to new levels.

By the end of the summer, you will see why the Y is called "America's swim instructor!"

If you want to register online, first make sure that you have an active account. If you have been a member or participated in programs in the past you likely still have an account.

If need be, create a new account by following the prompts. You may also choose to become a member, which will automatically create an account.

Then, return to the page of your child's UNIT to register.

You may also register in person at the Outdoor Center or Framingham Branch during business hours.

The Outdoor Center's hours are 9AM-5PM Monday through Friday.

a. Lunch may be purchased at the Hopkinton Summer Camps and the Y STEAM Camp in Natick for a weekly cost of $30. Those with childcare vouchers and Y assist are eligible for free lunch, but must register for it.

b. If you are concerned about how your financial situation may impact your children at camp, please contact your camp registrar to have a confidential conversation regarding financial assistance for meals.

c. All our meals are prepared Nut Free. We are a nut free camp, please do not bring items with nuts

Group sizes will range from 10-20 depending on the age group. The ratio for campers 6 years and younger is 1:5. Campers who are 7 and older meet a ratio of 1:10. There are only a few areas where groups will be mixed with other groups; the pool, opening ceremony and closing ceremony, AM/PM care, and any large scale camp activities.

We do our best to work with every family to make accommodations to help create a successful environment. We cannot provide 1 on 1 support, but we do have inclusion specialists who work in each unit and our staff go through training on how to work with kids with varying needs.

Drop off is 8:30-9:00am and Pick-Up is 3:30-4:15pm. Please do not arrive early. We want to limit the amount of traffic at the drop off and pick up zones.

  • There will be a separate drop-off/pick-up location for each Unit (Juniors, Middlers, Seniors). The goal is for this to be a contactless experience and for parents to not have to get out of their car.
  • If you have campers in different units you will drop them off at the Junior Unit/Admin Building as a family and camp staff will move them to their appropriate Units.
  • If you would like to get out of the car to put on sunscreen, talk with a counselor, or walk them to their Unit we ask that you park in one of the parking spots.
  • If you arrive after 9am, you must drop off at the Office. Once your child is checked in, we will get them to their group.

THINGS TO BRING:

  • Dress your camper in clothes they can move and play in that will keep them cool.
