Your Support Matters
The Annual Campaign ensures that everyone has equal access to the resources and tools they need to thrive.
If you have any questions, please contact Peter Waisgerber, Chief Development Officer: pwaisgerber@metrowestymca.org
Funds raised through the Annual Campaign help to support Y programs, including:
Camp for All
Our Camp for All campaign ensures that every child can make new friends, learn and play, and have new experiences that are only possible through camp. Thanks to the generosity of our community, one in eight campers is able to attend camp. Join us today so every kid can find their joy and their Y!
Water Safety
Drowning is the second highest cause of death for kids 5-14, with children from communities of color most at risk. We can change this by teaching them water safety and confidence. Join us in offering our community's youth and families the lifesaving gift of water safety. Donate now and be a part of the solution!
Food Access & Nutrition Education
At the MetroWest YMCA, we're dedicated to strengthening our community by addressing food insecurity. From cooking classes and family dinners to personalized nutrition consultations and weight loss programs, we support all ages in achieving their health goals. Join us in combating food insecurity.
LiveStrong (cancer survivor)
Reclaim strength and wellness after cancer with LIVESTRONG at the YMCA, a free program designed for survivors to improve health, confidence, and well-being. Guided by trained staff, participants focus on enhancing strength, flexibility, and endurance in a supportive group setting. Help us continue offering this vital support to those in recovery. Donate today and empower survivors on their journey to wellness.
Parkinson's Wellness Program
The Parkinson's Disease Wellness Programs are specifically designed to help individuals with Parkinson’s disease, MS, or any other neuromuscular conditions to maintain and improve their quality of life. Through scholarships, the MetroWest YMCA provides financial assistance to individuals with medically diagnosed Parkinson’s Disease. Individuals have the opportunity to exercise under the supervision of our Wellness staff up to two times per week.
Mental Health / Teen Resiliency
In response to a sharp increase in mental health issues post - COVID, we created programs to support teens' minds, bodies, and spirits. We provided them with opportunities for mentorship and job training and offered a safe space where they could try new things and explore their interests.
Social Isolation/ Community Building
We support the health and well-being of everyone in the MetroWest area. We work with other partners in the community to engage older adults to help reduce their social isolation while providing access to evidence-based programs that increase their quality of life.
Before & After School Care/ Early Learning
The MetroWest YMCA nurtures the potential of every youth through our Early Learning Center, Out-of-School Time care, camps, and programs. We provide a safe place to learn foundational skills, develop healthy, trusting relationships, and build self-reliance.
Building Inclusive Communities
With our doors open to all, we unite people from all backgrounds and support those who need us most. Our commitment to social responsibility ensures that all can access our services. Our members, volunteers, supporters, and staff demonstrate the power of what we can achieve by giving back together. Join us as we work toward positive change.
