Start Strong with the MetroWest YMCA's January Kickstarter Program
New to fitness and looking for support with health goals in the new year? The MetroWest YMCA’s January Kickstarter Program is designed to assist and motivate individuals who are beginning their wellness journey, providing guidance and accountability for long-term success. Participants can sign up through the free YMCA360 member app. Once the app has been downloaded, select "My Challenges," then "All," and then register for "January Kickstarter."
The program includes an InBody scan and consultation with a personal trainer to establish personalized goals and an action plan. Over the course of six weeks, participants are encouraged to engage in physical activity 3–5 times per week, completing a minimum of 150 minutes per week (up to one hour per day), while tracking workouts in YMCA360. Those who successfully complete the program are eligible for a follow-up InBody scan and consultation to determine next steps in their health and fitness journey.
This is the perfect opportunity to build healthy habits, gain confidence, and start the year feeling supported every step of the way!
Key dates:
- Program: January 5 - February 15
- Registration opens on December 26
- InBody scans and consultations will be January 2-12
- Registration closes on January 18
