5 Days of Action
April is Child Sexual Abuse Awareness Month, and the MetroWest YMCA is participating in Five Days of Action, a weeklong campaign designed to raise awareness and inspire adults to take action to protect children from sexual abuse.
The MetroWest YMCA will offer three Keeping Kids Safe at the Y information sessions at its Framingham Branch, where parents and caregivers can learn how to identify red flags and keep children safe, as well as what the YMCA team is doing to protect kids, families, and communities.
- Tuesday, April 14 – Studio B – 5:00-6:00 PM
- Wednesday, April 15 – Studio C – 9:30-10:30 AM
- Thursday, April 16 – Studio C – 12:00-1:00 PM
Additionally, staff will provide information in the lobby and talk with parents about specific steps they can take to protect kids.
Everyone is invited to join Y staff in wearing blue on Wednesday, April 15 to recognize Child Abuse Prevention Month.
