Celebrate Welcoming Week with the Y!
Welcoming Week is a time to bring neighbors of all backgrounds together to build connections, celebrate culture, and strengthen our community.
The MetroWest YMCA’s Framingham Branch and Hopkinton Outdoor Center invite you to join us for open houses, special events, and the chance to try programs with a free week pass. Come experience the Y as a place where everyone can belong, grow, and thrive—together.

Must be age 18 or over. Must bring your pass and a photo ID to the Member Services Desk at the Framingham Branch. Offer only valid between September 12-September 21, 2025.

During Welcoming Week, everyone is welcome to participate in free events at our Framingham Branch and Hopkinton Outdoor Center. Members, bring your friends with your unlimited guest passes.

Saturday, 9/13 - Framingham Branch
- Neighbors at Play Readathon & Family Fun, 10am-12pm
- Equipment Fitting in Spanish, 8:30-9:30am
Tuesday, 9/16 - Framingham Branch
- Framingham Library Bookmobile, 10am-12pm
- Senior Social, 11:30am-12:30pm
Wednesday, 9/17 - Framingham Branch
- Food tastings, 9-11am
- New England Kidney Foundation, 9-11am
- Providing health education resources along with kidney-healthy nutrition information and recipes.
Thursday, 9/18 - Hopkinton Outdoor Center
- Open House, 5:30-7pm
- Come learn about fall programs and sports, like pickleball, STEM, babysitting course, and more!
Friday, 9/19 - Framingham Branch
- Springwell Elder Services, 10am-1pm
- Providing information on the free programs and services they offer the community.
- Food tastings, 4-6pm
Saturday, 9/20 - Framingham Branch
- Equipment Fitting in Spanish, 11:30am-12pm
Child Watch
During Welcoming Week, Child Watch will be available on weekdays (Monday-Friday) only.
Your child can enjoy free play or participate in activities that may include painting, crafts, reading, STEM projects, or music. Children are welcome to stay for up to two hours. Schedule may vary by session.
